The Shutterbug side to ASCO’s Dushyant Chauhan

voyage

A picture says a thousand words and no one can weave stories through breathtaking clicks better than Dushyant Chauhan, a senior faculty of Amity School of Communication, Lucknow.

An avid learner who believes in nothing is impossible Dushyant teaches Advertising, photography and cyber media. He left all spellbound with his solo exhibition -Voyage with Camera.

Dushyant says, the idea of showcasing Incredible India was first on mind but now I decided to showcase a more diverse range of my work. I wanted quality above everything, hence I decided to self finance the show. All this given the kind of people who are going to see the event unfold.

A 2004 batch MBA graduate, he has enjoyed eight years in the corporate sector. He found his calling in liberal arts way back in 2012 when he changed track to art and photography.

He is also a PG diploma in still photography and visual communication.

In 67 prints and 110 instagram style shots the professional shutterbug captures the ethos of India candidly through a diverse range of cityscapes, landscapes, cultures with prime focus on the northern region.

Among other sidelights were a photo exhibition, library tour to showcase the institutes work and poster sessions which proved to be buzzworthy.

While policies and programmes have enabled women to lead healthier lives, significant gender-based health disparities remain in many developing countries including India.
