You never know what cupid has in store for you. He can either play the matchmaker or test you by breaking you down emotionally and then lifting you up from your dampened spirits.

For Aakash and Aanchal a childhood infatuation refuses to die down even after twelve years of their parting.

Its all too predictable. A fat not so attractive young boy falls for a pretty and bubbly girl.

They are playing in the park. The boy says I will catch you and never let you go. Pat comes the reply tu ab nahi rok payega mujhe.

Followed up with an ice cream date and then the bomb drops when the girl says I’m leaving the city for good since my father has been transferred.

Twelve years hence the girl is back in town, she is social media savvy, cool and a hepcat but the guy Aakash is still the simple happy go lucky guy that he was as a kid.

Aanchal is sending friend requests to all old pals but cannot connect with Aakash. Not surprisingly Aakash lives in a world where he believes that Aanchal now has new friends and perhaps forgotten him as well. It is a chance ice cream outing that coincidentally brings them back face to face again.

What follows perhaps is that one last bite of a mango bar before the two move on leaving behind memories that were to be cherished forever.

The production is helmed by Flames Productions in association with Digi Arrow, Revealed and The Local Train.

Directed by Prasoon Mathur with assistance by Neha Mathur and Shubhi Awasthi the 8 minute plus short film is a simple take on your typical childhood sweetheart and how inevitably this is a relation that was never meant to last.

The child actors are effortless in front of the camera when it came to delivery. The transition from a small Aakash to a grown up one is perfect. The end though looked a little abrupt with Aakash charging for the ice cream, taking a bite and walking away. Cinematography has been handled by Shubham Goel, Naman Srivastava.

Actors in roles in the film are Rishabh Tiwari, Vansh Arora, Parth Sachar and Prashant Jindal.

The actresses are Deeksha Sharma, Manu Upadhyay and Aanchal Sinha who light up the screen with their performances.

In two weeks the film has already got 3700 views.
