Honeypreet aka Baby has been missing eversince Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan went to jail. There is already a lookout notice against her. The two most talked of theories are that she has either been killed or she has fled ditching Gurmeet.
A keeper of Gurmeet’s dark secrets there is a fear lingering that she could very well be on the radar of the Dera so that Gurmeet does not stand exposed.
Police are yet to trace her, even as names of places where she could be are doing the rounds. From Nepal to Rajasthan and from Mumbai to Sirsa there are many places which are being searched.
An ex driver has also hinted at possibilities like Pune, Chhattisgarh or Hiimachal Pradesh.
While Ram Rahim serves a 20 year jail term for two separate rape cases, Honeypreet had been seen accompanying him in a chopper, while being taken to Rohtak from Panchkula.
She stayed with Gurmeet through and through until she was captured later on camera leaving with three others in a car.
Honeypreet is believed to have plotted a failed escape plan for Gurmeet. Booked for sedition, Honeypreet is also accused of plotting the widespread violence that killed 41.
Honeypreet was with Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Sunaria jail’s guest house on August 25 after he was convicted of rape. She left the jail complex at around 9.30 pm after Gurmeet was shifted to the jail.
Honeypreet, whose real name is Priyanka Taneja has been absconding since August 25.
Final arguments in the twin murder cases in which the Dera chief is allegedly involved is in a special CBI court.
The twin cases are about the murders of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati and former Dera manager Ranjit Singh.
Honeypreet calls herself the “adopted daughter” of the Dera chief and “Papa’s angel”. With Honeypreet out of the scene, chief spokesperson Vipassana is now increasingly growing in stature as the next leader of the Dera, though reports suggest that Gurmeet calls the shots from inside.
Honeypreet acted in the film MSG 2 – The Messenger and had a cameo role in MSG – The Warrior Lion Heart, in which the Dera chief played the lead roles.
Honeypreet is daughter of Rama Nand. Having married a Panchkula resident on February 14, 1999, her official residence is Flat number A 23, Shah Satnam Ji Nagar, Sirsa.

The rapist guru’s adopted daughter was in the news in 2011 when her husband Vishwas Gupta had filed a petition alleging that Ram Rahim had sexually assaulted his wife in captivation.
Vishwas Gupta alleged that Ram Rahim arranged for marriage between him and Honeypreet and illegally took their land.
The family also accused Ram Rahim of threatening them with murder.
A week later Honeypreet filed a case on the Guptas accusing them of dowry harassment, attempt to murder and breach of trust.
Later, Vishwas Gupta withdrew the petition with an “out of court” settlement.
